ENDOCRINOLOGIST
Dr Benjamin Sly is a Consultant Endocrinologist providing outpatient care at Brisbane Diabetes Endocrinology and inpatient care at the Mater Private Hospital, Brisbane. He also works in the Endocrinology Department at the Princess Alexandra Hospital.
Doctor Sly graduated with a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery and completed his endocrinology training at Cairns Base Hospital and the Princess Alexandra Hospital. He is a current PhD candidate at the University of Queensland, focusing on the management of diabetes in the digital hospital environment.
Dr Sly sees patients with diabetes and any general endocrinology conditions. He has a special interest in diabetes, hypertension, thyroid disease and pituitary disorders.
He is a member of the Endocrine Society of Australia, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, the Australian Diabetes Society and the Health Informatics Society of Australia.
