NEUROSURGEON

Dr Antonio Tsahtsarlis completed his neurosurgery training in Australia after receiving an honours degree from the University of Sydney.  Tony then undertook further subspecialty training in complex spine surgery at the Foothills Hospital in Calgary, Canada. He is a  consultant neurosurgeon at the Princess Alexandra Hospital and Mater Private Hospital Brisbane as part of the Mater Centre for Neuroscience.  Tony is engaged in the Back Assessment Clinic (BAC) as well as Neuro-Oncology and Cerebrovascular Multidisciplinary Clinics. His special interests include minimally invasive (keyhole) simple and complex spine surgery, spine tumour surgery, neuro-oncology, pituitary tumour surgery, and cerebrovascular surgery.
